Between Here & Somewhere New
Hi, I’m Diana
Well, you can call me Yana for short :)
Born and raised in the Philippines, my earliest memories are already tied to airplanes and suitcases. At five, I took my very first flight with my parents, and at ten, I was already flying solo to visit my grandparents in the countryside. I quickly learned that traveling is more than just an escape, but a doorway to a bigger world. And so I took a degree in Tourism, landed my first job designing travel and tours for small and large groups across Asia and the Pacific, before moving into a dream role as a sales and marketing executive for major international airlines.
A few years ago, I took a big leap, packed my whole life into a suitcase and moved to France—a dream come true!
I pursued my master’s specializing in International Events, expecting just a two-year stay. What unfolded was far beyond my plans: moved to a small town in Germany to volunteer in humanitarian work, then spent a whole summer in Iceland for an internship, met people from different walks of life, fostered friendships that felt like family away from home, and quiet moments that continue to shape how I see the world—and myself.
From a shy little girl to now confidently guiding groups of travelers from all corners of the globe, and from being afraid to watch a film alone to fearlessly backpacking solo, each journey helped me to grow in ways that I never knew were actually possible. There maybe exhilarating highs, and challenging lows coupled with moments of uncertainty, but growth only happens the moment we step out of our comfort zones.
The in-betweens
I created this tiny space to somehow share those subtle glimpses and insights that I picked up between departure and arrival.
Here, we’ll have those stories and experiences shaped into beautiful memories that linger long after the trip is over. A gentle invitation to uncover what lies between here and somewhere new.
